This morning I was going out for breakfast with my brother.
Hopped in the Jeep and the engine cranked over quickly, but not even a sputter...
Turned the ignition to start and did not hear the fuel pump run.
Popped the hood and did not hear the fuel pump relay click when the ignition was turned on.
Tapped the relay to see if it was stuck; then cranked the engine, but still the engine does not start.
Removed the intake snorkel and sprayed a little starter fluid and cranked the engine over; still no start.
Removed the ASD and fuel pump relays, inspected the relay terminals and prongs; cleaned the prongs with scotch bright and reinserted the relays.
Cranked the engine and the engine started immediately.

Conclusion.... the prongs on the relay were oxidized not allowing the relay to energize so you should remove each relay periodically to remove and reinsert the relay to remove the build up of oxidation on the prongs contacting surface.
