Crank no start again

I posted a thread about a month ago about my 1999 wrangler TJ 4.0L auto
It’s been off the road a couple of months now so here goes
Replaced plugs, distributor cap, leads, rotor, coil pack, cps, distributor switch plate, checked all wiring under the fuse box, all fuses ok in the footwell, new fuel pump, checked fuel & asd relays ( switched with horn) done the jump wire on the pump relay & it runs.
Finally just fitted a new PCM from Mark at wrangler fix, still the same, crank no start.
Before I bought the PCM I tried everything , looking for shorts etc, I had no pulse to the injectors or no gauges so thought it was the PCM.
I still have no gauges but did intermittently & when I did I could spray gas down the throttle body & it fired, with no gauges nothing.
Whatever is causing the gauges to go out with no bus is preventing fuel reaching the fuel rail.
As I said this was intermittent a couple of weeks ago, with the gauges, cranked but still not starting.
I am totally at a loss now
The only thing I haven’t replaced is the key switch which I did take out, cleaned then put it back, still the same

Do you hear the fuel pump turn on for 2 seconds every time you turn the ignition switch on?

Yes but not when the gauges are down, trying to find out why they are down

How do the contacts look on the back of the gauge cluster?

I’ve had the cluster off & cleaned, all making good contact
Wiring looks good
