***UPDATE 1***
I installed the Rugged Ridge 18050.82 HD steering linkage this weekend. It definitely tightened up the steering but only incrementally. My order from JKS has been “processing” since 04/27 so while I’m waiting for my parts, I thought I’d check my steering box. It took a while but I finally got the nut loose and started making adjustments to the allan screw. The allan screw seemed to have been tightened as far as it would go prior to me looking at it. I’ve also noticed a creaking sound that may be coming from the steering box. Can anybody confirm that’s possible? Google and YouTube says that means the box is toast. If that be the case, what would y’all suggest as the next step. Replace it? Rebuild it? Thanks again guys!!!
