Since no one has asked; I will ask for more information.
The actuator and retaining clip appear to be quite oxidized…..
Was the actuator working when removed or was it just removed from a vehicle at the auto recycler ?

The module worked fine when pulled. The rust is from being in Virginia for 20 years.
