I haven’t quite started my build yet but I figure now is as good as time as any to start the thread.
I have a 2003 TJ Sport in Solar Yellow as I briefly mentioned in my new members page.
About the Jeep as it sits:
Nicknamed - Wolverine
2003 TJ Sport - Solar Yellow
Factory Rear Dana 44
3.73 Gear
NV231 Transfer case
17” Black Rhino Wheels - I believe they are the Sierra
Falken Tires
Unknown spacer kit and adapter
Midland GMRS
Removed the plastic ends from the front bumper
The wheels and tires were put in by the previous owner. Unfortunately he didn’t buy a matching spare so I am deciding whether to buy a matching now or wait. I am personally more of a fan of Matte wheels so eventually I plan to switch them out.
Current plans for the build:
Different Wheels - 17’s in either matte black or matte gray
33” Tires - Leaning Nitto Ridge Grappler or Trail Grappeler
3-3.5 inch lift
Barricade adventure HD or Trail Force HD front bumper - Also considering the Fishbone Offroad Piranha
Rear bumper with a tire carrier to get the spare off the hinge gate - Not sure on which one yet
Re gear - Not sure on ratio yet
I would love to hear any suggestions you guys have. It will be a slow build and I will definitely update as I go! Here are a few pictures of it as of now.
