Difference between 2000 and 2005 front seats

I have the chance to get a good deal in seat covers. The covers are for an 05 and I have a 2000. Will they work? Even fi not a perfect fit it would be worth it for this deal. Thanks.

They should fit ok. The difference in seats that occurred in 2003 was just to lower the seat mount height to better align the occupant with the air bags.

Didnt they change from the “round back” to the “square back” style? The earlier TJs seem to have different seat shape than my 2006

Yes.

I dont think you would ever be happy if they ended up ill fitting even if they were top of the range and free but it depends on ones OCD

The seats and brackets are entirely different.

There are 2 generating of TJ seats: 1997-2002 & 2003-2006.
