Do I need a dropped pitman arm for a 4 inch Savvy lift?

Swung by the shop this morning to check on the LJ and drop off a nutsert kit for them.

shop suggested I need a drop pitman arm for the build.

yes / no?

I run 4" Currie springs, savvy midarm, Savvy 1.25" BL and a rockjock currectlync . A dropped pitman arm was not needed.

I'd take my rig home and do it myself. You don't need that, the only case you would is if your trackbar mount is also relocated (which it shouldn't have any reason to be on that lift).

They had their shop foreman look at it and he suggested it. He’s a Toyota guy not a Jeep guy.

their Jeep tech called me back and said “no it’s not needed”.

They are a huge land cruiser shop, but have a “Jeep” guy. Was glad to see a LJ come in vs JK/JL’s.

that said it’s 2mi from my house in a small town south of Nashville.
