Do I need a SYE?

I have a 2000 tj with a 3"suspension lift, and an 1 1/4 body lift with longer sway bar links... I was able to lose the 1" TC drop when I installed the 1" MML...I have zero vibrations...I haven't been out muddin yet, but I don't know if I need an SYE, longer driveshaft, pitman arm or anything else...drives great on pavement, but that is different from the mud. anybody got any help?

Sounds good, you should be good to go as things are. A SYE snd CV driveshaft only really becomes required once you get to a 4" suspension lift.

If there are absolutely no vibrations at any speed even while accelerating I'd go out and wheel it! Definitely don't install a dropped Pitman arm.

are the main purposes for the SYE and cv driveshaft just to eliminate vibrations?....can you tell by looking if you already have an SYE or cv shaft? I'm assuming cv is for constant velocity and usually means 2 pieces

That is the stock setup.

It’s to fix vibrations and drive line angles. And no, you don’t have one. That’s stock.

A SYE allows a longer rear driveshaft to be used which reduces excessive angles at the f/r driveshaft u-joints. Going with a CV driveshaft allows the excessive angles at the u-joints to be completely eliminated. As above yours is stock.
