Do the rear lights need to be screwed onto the body to get a good ground?

I am setting my 2005 Jeep Wrangler up to be towed by a motorhome I have purchased a roadmaster wiring kit 154? I have not tapped all connections an installed lights, do the lights need to be screwed onto the body to get a good ground to work?

Thanks for the answers installed lights onto Jeep an works good,hooked Jeep up to motorhome an all works.Now if I can get my computer to work I will start rolling down the road
