When you put on a master cylinder, or a brake power booster, do you always check the distance of the pushrod, in that it matches up, with the mastercylinder.? I just become aware of doing that. I just put on a mc on another vehicle an checked it, an didnt do this when i just put on the master cylinder on the 2002 jeep. master cylinder was from a 2004 for the jeep. should i pull mc off an check it? brakes work fine? do all know to check the pushrod distance before putting on master cylinder?
