Do you daily your Jeep?

Do you guys daily your Jeep?

  • Yes

  • Yes, only in summer

  • Yes, even during winter

  • No

Daily here, even with 35s. Though there are a few things added to make it a bit more enjoyable on the road. Compass/temp mirror, grab handles, seat heaters, re geared, dead pedal, tuned shocks, proper brakes, polk speakers

I've daily driven mine since 06, 110k-ish miles on it now, but ive always had a very short commute. If I ever have to do a long daily commute, I'd bite the bullet and get something else to keep the miles off.

I daily the JK. Though I work at home, so I'm not really driving all that much.

I daily drive mine, but really don't have too. I have several other cars to choose from but really like driving the Jeep. :D I had to put battery tenders on the others and also go out and start them once a week to make sure everything stays lubed. LOL

I have a stock '98 TJ that I DD, approx 46 miles per day. She is basically completely stock with 253,000 miles. Take off the hard top in April/May timeframe and put it back on end of oct. Throw on a trail cover at work when rain is forecasted, if it rains during commute I get wet. Worst part is afternoon 100 deg drives home in August, but right now is prime time, perfect temps and no rain.

My '04 is my toy and it basically only sees the road when it is on the way to the trail.

I bought my LJ new in 2006, driven daily since then. Only 72,000 miles, I have a short commute. Occasionally I ride my motorcycle.
Soft top in summer, hard top in winter.

I did for about 2 years. 5.9 magnum engine, 35s, highline with 2 inch lift. Wore out 2 sets of tires in that time. Ended up hating it so much I almost sold it. I have Mastercraft Baja RS seats, which are really nice once you are in them but are a pain in the ass to get in and out of every day.

Now I drive it about 3 or 4 times a month and enjoy it again.

I think I maybe put 500-1000 miles on it a year, but 18k on my other my other vehicles so no, I don't daily it. My commute home is about an hour and it would be a punishment to drive home in traffic on a 100+ day. Weekend driving around town only and only when it's not hot, or cold, or raining! My wife thinks I should drive it more considering how much work I put into it fixing it up and keeping it running.

I drive the TJ almost daily but, it’s not my daily driver. Ailey driver is the dodge nitro for now. Looking into trading it in on a truck.

I daily mine to work every day, but my better half has a Prius that we use primarily for long trips and (on-road) weekend stuff.

I probably should have a different car for winter in order to avoid the rust, but A) it's expensive to buy another winter car, even if it's a winter beater and B) it's just damn fun to drive the TJ through snow.
