I'm asking out of pure curiosity. The thought had crossed my mind that if I ever had to fully rebuild my engine, I might be inclined to turn it into a stroker. However, I'm not sure how reliable they are, if there is any realistic and usable power to be gained, and if it's even worth it.
I'm looking for input from anyone who owns (or has owned) a 4.0 stroker. What displacement did you go with? Is it noticeably quicker than the stock 4.0, or not that much? Did you build your stroker yourself, or did you buy it from someone already built?
Any info is appreciated. I happen to really like the 4.0, so this seems like a cool option.
