Dog Friendly Front Seat Cover

Ginger, my hound dog copilot, is hard on seats,
tracking in mud and sand. And she has sharp toenails.
I wanted an inexpensive, tough, waterproof seat cover
that could be easily removed to shake out or hose off.
This one looks like it's going to work out.

It has two straps with clips
and a clever bit of PVC tube with a strap through it.
Push the PVC tube between the seat back and bottom.
Keeps the seat tucked in. Skirts protect the sides of the seat.

When I first got it I tested it in my old work truck.
The driver's seat was patched with Duct Tape.
The PupProtector was quite comfortable
and stayed in place.

It worked so well,
I have moved it to my 1998 TJ passenger seat for Ginger.
I'm ordering another one for my work truck.

I got the bestop waterproof seat covers for WRASCAL when I got her… they’ve been fantastic! The only issue is a cosmetic one that bothers some… I don’t mind yet. Over time the back and side material get lightened by the light and turn from black to a more purple hue. It’s not a deal breaker for me at all. They weren’t “cheap” but they’ve held up well to 6 years of weather and pups for me. One of my best purchases for sure!
