Any idea what this piece is called to reorder? I went to replace my door latch and the threaded side of the handle to latch side broke.

Door rod lock connector.
Amazon and quadratec both have them.

Not trying to hijack your thread but I'm trying to determine if I have a similar problem now...My issue is that I can lock and unlock the door from the outside of the car with the key. On the inside however, flipping the lock/unlock button does nothing.

Is this the same issue you're having, just out of curiosity?

There are two rods inside that connect to the interior portion, one that handles lock/unlock and the other that opens the latch to get out. My lock/unlock is connected (in the picture it's the rod with cloth around it), my issue is the other rod, if I were inside I wouldn't be able to open the door now.

AHHH I gotcha, thanks for the description that helps clarify it a bit. Everything on mine works fine, save for the inside lock - just means I open the door for my wife all the time now tho. Good luck...

I figured the rod didn't break, just came out of it's clip. So, it's pretty easy for you to open the panel and check if it just got disconnected somehow.

any idea where to get the door rod from? neither quadratec or amazon have them. only the clips.

What do you need?

My guess is the metal rod did not break, the plastic clip is what broke.

If indeed it is the plastic clip, I think I saw someone who prints them. Just need to Google it.
