Door panel reinstall

So I saw an old thread about how to remove the door panel. Did that. Now I can't seem to get everything lined and tidied up correctly so it sits flush. I get it all popped in and find that one edge or the other is out of whack. Is there a trick to this or do I just need to be patient and keep messing with it? Frustrating.

With the door open and window rolled down you want to put the to lip into the the opening where the window is (the panel needs to be somewhat angled up for this) and then slide it forward towards the side mirror. Once that it's slid into place correctly everything else should line up. It is definitely a bit of a hassle but once you get the hang of it it becomes much easier.

Are all the clips on the back side in their proper location? If those are not lined up you may have a spot that is not going all the way in. They should line up fairly easily, though.

X2. It's actually not very difficult, you just have to get it all lined up. This is solid advice though.
