Unless you know all the differences in what Bestop makes for the TJ I STRONGLY suggest you speak to someone at Bestop to make sure you get the parts you need for your specific top.Thank you, I can see it, now I know what it says.
Bestop made the OE Soft top and hardware for Jeep, but they are not allowed to sell the OEM "full top" to customers due to patent rights Jeep has. Because of this they marketed the Supertop as a "full top" with hardware for TJ owners that only had the hard top. It uses completely different hardware than the OEM full top.
Thanks for the advice. The more I find out about this Jeep the less I think I know. I haven’t found anything that looks like this frame and I don’t imagine I will find a door surround that matches since it was originally riveted and not intended be removed.
As far as I know none of the soft top manufacturers intend for their parts to be riveted onto the Jeep
Sorry, i wasn’t clear on that. The door surround is riveted to the frame/bow on one end and has that male snap part, circled in yellow, on the windshield end. The passenger side surround is broken off at the frame/ bow and gone, so not likely to find a replacement part even if I knew who made it
