If you're going to be moving mirrors, move the factory mirrors. Quadratec had a sale on relocation brackets a few months ago, so I got a set. With the doors on, the mirrors are on them. Doors off, the factory mirrors are moved to the relocation brackets.

We really need some magnetic (neobendium) mirrors that stick to the window frame . Just something you could slap on fast .maybe wide angle.

Decided to give these a try. Seemed best option since the windshield bracket bolts are blocked on passenger side by safari intake.

Best idea yet! I really like the idea the brackets meet at the top and you don't have to take them apart for installation.
Make sure to ditch the nylon lined self locking nuts and get some regular stainless nuts and stainless washers at the hardware store or you'll be wrenching on the nuts till they get to the bottom of the bolts or to the top when removing or installing.

So the cheap ones I got off amazon worked ok enough. I got the driver side set up perfect after a few tries and it would only vibrate badly at idle but for some reason the passenger side I could never set right even tho it was set up just like the driver but it would vibrate so bad you could hardly see out of it(but you don’t need that with the top off anyway lol) so overall im pleased with my $30 mirrors. I am tho on my 3ed set of door bushing from amazon and hoping this set will fit right. Lol

I am happy with the ones I posted previously. I only put the driver's side on. The safari snorkel still blocked it on the passenger side. In theory, I didn't need either of them as TX only requires one mirror counting interior mirror, but I find it useful.

This had stainless locking nuts.

In case anyone else needs to reference:

I picked these up off amazon and had them arrive lastnight, tossed them on and didnt have any shaking at all, no noise or whistle and they dont really look funny either. all in all i am very satisfied with them so far and they dont take up much space either and i can toss them in my center console when not in use. would recommend picking up plastic/nylon washers for underside of hinge bracket so the nut doesnt take off the paint though. cant say much on how they hold up over time though as i just got them.

ive had no complaints with these mirrors. just passing on that i have been happy with them. no shakes or vibration, viewing angles are good and they hold their position.
i just toss them in my center console when not in use and they seem to be holding up pretty well.
