My drivers side dome light will come on but my passenger won’t, and the sound bar does works on both sides. We tried changing bulb and that didn’t help. Not sure where to go to next, but can anyone help?

I dislike the lighting so bad I have a rechargeable Milwaukee headlamp strapped to my roll cage...it is awesome and can be removed for emergency lighting.
Remove the crystal for the light that is not working and test the contacts for power when the other light is illuminated.
If there is power to the one contact then the problem is the ground source; IF there is no power to the contacts then the problem could be the switch.
