‘04 LJ. Front shaft is stock and seems to work fine although the CV is shot. I’m glad to order a new one from Tom but can’t wait. ADK Jeep invasion is this coming weekend and I need a shaft. Can’t trust the mailman to get replacement parts here soon enough and i mean it’s shot bad.
so the question is. What year TJ and/or LJ can I swap out front shafts? I have an old ‘88 Yj front shaft but i don’t think so.
If i call the scrap yard for used or go to one of the many locals with a TJ they are parting out.
??
 
IIRC, I think the (non-Rubicon) LJs are the same as the TJs.

Have you tried a local parts store? They can usually get stuff from their warehouse in a day.

Special order up to 4 days. Ordered, can’t trust it. Gotta wheel Friday-Sunday
