I’m not confident in electrical like that this might be where I throw in the towel and tow it to my shop to have someone work on it.

Fuse 21 in PCM powers up the positive side of the coil thru the ASD.6
Fuse 21 is fed from fuse 6 in the PCM.
Check them for a blown fuse.
The positive is from Fuse 21 and the negative is from the ECM.

Maybe a frayed wiring harness? Mine was rubbing on the back corner of the engine, passenger side.
Hell yeah fuse 21 almost got the engine to start then it blew the fuse again. Getting closer to the issue at least
So I can get the engine to run easily (easily meaning I can get it to run on every time) now it starts up every time. Put it still idles very poorly could this be the timing on the distributor? I know on YJ’s you had to get the timing set up with the distributor but on the service manual for our jeeps I don’t see it talking about that.
When you replaced the distributor there is a process to place No. 1 cylinder at the top of the compression stroke, mark No. 1 cylinder on the distributor body and to set up the oil pump drive coupling slot to ease the installation of the new distributor.

In our '04 TJ, we had a similar issue. It would run down the highway, but when I came to a stop, it would idle very low, then stall. It would not start unless I put my foot down on the accelerator pedal. Turned out to be the idle air controller. I tried to clean it like has been recommended in various threads, but that only worked for a couple of weeks. Once it was replaced, it idled normally again.
Was trying to get the distributor timing right and I did everything following the video it’s really hard to get it to start but sometimes I can and when I can it idles super rough I’m giving up and bringing it to the shop tomorrow.
Took it to my mechanic ( who has worked on it before and I trust) said at least the head gasket was blown. There’s lots more of underlying issues in the engine too. Long story short scraping the engine in it now and gonna put in a new one. Thanks for all your help everyone sadly not everything can be saved.
