Great, now everyone else who uses lemonade is going to end up paying increased premiums to cover the cost of Tesla drivers using FSD

That's not how it works. I'm sure they did their actuarial analysis in determining appropriate rates. Tesla FSD is much safer than human drivers already. And it's rapidly getting better.
IDK how good Tesla FSD is, but I would still trust it more than the vast majority of brain dead zombies out driving on the local roads here.
This is a hands-free phone state yet I can't count the number of people I see messing with their phone while driving.
Are you serious? I'm sure there's no reason they wouldn't want to release crash records, then.
FSD is a $100/month subacription.
Ok, I have questions. Can Tesla FSD get road rage? Will it block the passing lane? Will it speed up so I can't pass it?
It can generate road rage.
A friend of mine changed his commute path because every morning there was a guy in his Tesla camping in the left lane reading a book.
The car followed the traffic laws perfectly, unfortunately nobody actually drives 45 in the left lane so he was just a rolling roadblock.
I have to give them credit, they haven't shifted focus. I like the cost savings and simplicity.
there's still too much crap on it
?
You can configure it with nothing but the basics in pretty much every aspect of the vehicle, not sure if they can take too much more off the thing. It's electric, so there are certain things you're unlikely to avoid. If you're referring to things like backup cameras, I believe those are now government mandated on all new vehicles (under a certain GVW). I don't agree with that, but I also didn't vote for any of the assholes who pass this shit...pardon the digression. SRS systems have been required for much longer (1998), so must meet the minimum.
I think this is about as close as you can get to the classic standard work truck you could buy at the dealer back in the '80s and '90s, no extras. Crank down windows, hvac, basic interior, 2 seat cab, can carry 4x8 sheets (with the gate down, albeit). Getting closer to being appealing to me.
R2.8 or tdi swap in my future![]()
