You can configure it with nothing but the basics in pretty much every aspect of the vehicle, not sure if they can take too much more off the thing. It's electric, so there are certain things you're unlikely to avoid. If you're referring to things like backup cameras, I believe those are now government mandated on all new vehicles (under a certain GVW). I think this is about as close as you can get to the classic standard work truck you could buy at the dealer back in the '80s and '90s, no extras. Crank down windows, hvac, basic interior, 2 seat cab, can carry 4x8 sheets (with the gate down, albeit). Getting closer to being appealing to me.

I do agree that this thing is likely to be the best we can hope to get in this Nanny State. There's a bunch of bullshit that is required, and more on the way. Makes me want to import a Tuk-Tuk and flip off everybody... ;)

I don't give a damn how quickly they accelerate, it's about feel...and things powered by liquefied long-dead dinosaurs and petrified fish shit react differently to input. And they sound better, smell better.... :p
