Hello, 2002 TJ. I have an exhaust leak that’s extremely loud and I figured out that it’s coming from here, there is no hole in the cats pipe but rather from this piece next to it (right where my hand is). Could someone help me identify it? Thanks

As mentioned, it looks like something is rubbing/riding on the driveshaft.

Where on the exhaust pipe are you point at? In that general area, there shouldn't be any holes. From that picture, your exhaust looks to be in decent condition. If there is a hole, just take it to an exhaust shop and let them weld it. Here, that's a $40 repair for a few simple welds.

Actually yes it was the cat, I found a small crack, thanks for the help!

Be careful with that one. Cats are a high ticket job that shady shops like to sell/push on unknowledgeable people. From what I can see in the picture, you can probably have it welded up. Show a pic if you can. Is your check engine light on?

An entire replacement exhaust including catalytic converters isn’t that expensive unless you have to buy a CARB compliant one. If it’s cracking then I’d be replacing it.

I am also curious about that rub mark on your driveshaft. I’d figure out what’s rubbing and fix it because it should not be doing that.
