Fun times with 2002 TJ. Snapped both muffler flange bolt studs when trying to remove the nuts. The studs were splined and pressed into the flange. I heated them up and pounded out the studs. Then I went to the catalytic converter and tried to remove the 3 connecting bolts and they wouldn’t budge. Interestingly enough, the bolts have splines and are pressed in to one side of the flange and on the other side were the connecting nuts that were welded to the flange. All the nuts and bolts are removed, anyone know what size hardware I need to put all of this back together?

Maybe previous owner welded?

I used a cutting wheel on my 02 to cut off the nuts and stud heads. Then heated up with a torch and pounded them out. It took A LOT of heat and force.

Not sure of the size but it's easy enough to drop in a bolt and figure it out once you get the old parts removed.

Edit: You already have them removed?
