Factory: day time running lights

So while searching around for info about fog lights. I found there is a day time running light Module. (DRL) that came installed on export TJs.

From the information I was able to find. The pcm must be programmed for it. (Told it has the Module).

Has anyone ever tried to install one? Just kinda one of those things that would be a nice to have. No need for it. But it would set mine apart just that little bit.

I know the leds have it built in. Not what i want.

Yes. The way the jeep tj works is the only turn on when the direct motion.

To be honest I don't know what happens at red lights. I have never seen one with them. Its my belief that only Canadian exports had them

My previous TJ was Canadian with DRL. I'm 99% sure the way the module worked was once the Jeep was in motion, the lights would kick on and remain on until the engine was turned off.

Im still digging through the wireing diagram to see if i even have what I need to install it.
