They probably ditched the full length rocker guards for the painted extensions during one of the refreshes, like 03.

Interesting. What year was that? On Saharas, I've always seen the larger rocker covers that run the whole length of the rocker.

97-02' Saharas had the plastic rocker guards and two-tone seats. 03-04' removed both of those features. 05' discontinued the Sahara model TJ.

Ha, that pic really confused me for a minute.

It was my 03' Sahara that I changed the original decals.

Those wide flares are Mass. Where cops pull you over for anything they can. Can't stand that state, and their strong arm police.
