Good lord that's crazy. But then, I bought a spoiler a few months ago and it came from China looking like it went through a warzone. I shipped it back to the seller (should've waited to get a call tag or something but I was impatient) and went to a UPS store and to send it ground from Pennsylvania to California was like $150. Shipping large items makes for insane fees.

Haha
They're really screwing you guys over there!
the real screwing starts when it arrives at customs and they add 20% tax followed by the postage company adding their "handling fee"

I'd recommend an ebay seller who uses their world shipping program, I used that to import 5 Mickey Thompson rims. Customs chargers, vat and admin fees were all included in the displayed price.

I'm looking at some 7inch Fender flairs for my tj. Has anyone fitted any to theirs? I just want to know if you need to redrill holes or use the original factory holes. Thanks all[emoji2] View attachment 14485

Not too long ago I bought a 6 inch set just like that off of EBay for my 2006 TJ. I thought it was an American company out of Kentucky I think, (sorry, can't remember the name) but turned out to be Chinese.

Package arrived with a big hole in the side, and the spacers for mounting were missing. I made new ones and then discovered that the rear flares matched up to only 3 factory holes on each side. The others were slightly off, some by an 8th, some by 16th's. The fronts matched up good, however the mounting screws were cheap aluminum sheet metal screws painted black. Implying you just screw them into the body where ever the flare holes hit.

My reason for purchase was to try and eliminate the road spoo from splashing up on my plastic side windows. Winter road chemicals in Colorado really take their toll on the plastic. Turned out my tires (new) just weren't wide enough to match up with the flares and it didn't look so great, so I went back to my factory flares and I'm happy with that.

I eventually received my fender flairs . What a load of horse shit. Bought them off ebay as it was supposed to be made in Germany but turned out they came from China. I stripped one off to check for fitment etc only to find locating holes are nowhere near. They were supplied with self tapping screws which were too short as the mounting holes are about an inch away from the lip which touches the body. There is no way in hell they can be fitted due to the gap between body and flair mounting holes. So I put the original ones back on and now time for some cider [emoji6]

What are your options for the worthless flares you received? Cider...right...
