Looks like a keeper. Probably won't have to hash out any head scratching PO mods, looks damn near stock

Did they ever come with color matched flares from the factory? Or were all flares just black plastic? Man, they look so much nicer color matched. A lot more 'sophisticated'. Sorta Land Rover-ish.

That looks like a 60th anniversary edition for the 2001 model year which comes with body colored flares. Sahara models are also body colored.

Good to hear. An eerily similar Jeep was posted on West Branch Craigslist for $3k. The ad stated the frame broke (left rear lower control arm detached) and the seller would part out the Jeep if nobody bought it whole. The ad has since been removed.

Having the fender flares be color matched was an option on later TJs, but I don't know if it was available on earlier models.

It looks like all it needs, besides fixing the wipers & fog lights, is getting rid of those front milk jugs, the side steps and that hard top. Of course that's just my opinion. Congratulations! and spend your money on it however you want.
