Fender flares never came in flame red, so this may be a very tall order 👍

Hi Chris, I’m no expert and just getting into the history of my Jeep and starting to put some work in.
From my understanding the 03 Freedom Edition came with body colored fender flares. I checked my paint code (PR4) and it is flame red. I’m a rookie so I could be wrong. Here is a pic of mine 03 with the flame red fender flares.

I also checked the WaybackMachine because I remember seeing that Bushwacker had made factory matched fender flares at one point, but it appears the no longer make them.

Damn, you’re right and I’m wrong! I totally forgot about the Freedom Edition. Those aren’t very common by any means, but they do exist. The chances of finding those fender flares in flame red are probably very slim. You’d probably be better off getting a set in black and painting them red 👍

Huh, I never knew that.

I had always wondered what model my Jeep was because it didn’t have the model sticker when I bought it used in 09. I had just assumed it was a Sahara because it had a/c. However, in my research I found that the 03 Sahara came in Sienna Pearl, not Flame Red. EventuallyI put all the pieces together and was pleasantly surprised to learn I had a Freedom Edition!

That's definitely a model I don't see very often. Very cool (y)
