I have been using the Rugged Ridge liners front and rear for about 3 years. Previous owner bed-lined the tub, I also have Bedrug carpet on top of that. At the time I purchased the mats they were recommended in several posts in this forum, and had generally positive reviews elsewhere. The rears have performed fine, and so I'm keeping them for now. Within the first few months the logo fell off of the driver side in the front, leaving two small holes in the mat. That hasn't proven to be overly problematic, other than a bit annoying. They generally fit well, as show here:
The primary issue I have is the bowing along the transmission tunnel (passenger side is exactly the same but mirrored). The location being directly behind the gas pedal is not ideal:
I thought maybe it just needed to loosen up with some heat. Sitting in the vehicle improved it slightly but not all the way. I've tried various strategies to straighten it out (left in the driveway, stacked stuff on it, blow dryer, heat gun, etc) all this has improved the condition but it only lasts a few weeks at most. If I was smart I would have just sent them back at the beginning. I recently decided I was tired of fighting with it. Narrowed my choice in replacements down to Weathertec and Husky. I've been generally happier with Husky Mats on other vehicles so I picked up a set of their Classic TJ Liners.
Comparison of coverage with Rugged Ridge:
Fitment on driver side:
The coverage is obviously a bit better, they fit tighter and have more of the spikes so they stay put better, and are easier to clean/wipe off due the more shallow diamond pattern. They are a bit less stiff and plasticky than the Weathtecs I've had in other vehicles, but not quite as thick and rubberized as the Rugged Ridges they replaced. Overall traction is adequate when they are dry and my feet don't slide around any more or less than the Rugged Ridges. Haven't had them wet yet - will update if that changes. Most importantly at this point - no gap:
The passenger side is pretty much the same as the driver. I can grab pictures if someone wants them. I'll update if something changes, but it seems to me if you're torn between Husky and Rugged Ridge liners, the Husky is the better product, especially considering the Rugged Ridges cost ~$40 more for the front set only.
