Floppy mirrors

I’m about to head on a long trip so I checked out the jeeps ride on the highway. Everything was fine except the mirror. As soon as I hit 70 the wind pushed it and pointed it straight down and I had to keep readjusting it. Are there any ways to fix this or do I need a new mirror.

I’d have to actually look at and inspect, but usually this is a tell tale sign you need new mirrors.

Depending on when your trip is you may get away with setting it and siliconing it in place. I think it takes 24 hours to cure but it probably beats waiting for new mirrors.
