Thanks everyone! I’ve been pouring over the threads on tuneups (I.e. plugs, plug wires, cap/ rotor, o2 sensors etc)
I have a 97 TJ that was basically bone stock when I bought it. (Previous owner had an 8.8 rear axle put in) It was never wheeled, and appears to have never been well maintained either (156k miles). It is super clean and rust free, so I’m pretty lucky there.
it is not an every day driver, and sees mostly weekend trips to light/moderate trails and camping.
I’m going to have a bunch of questions about axles, especially the front (I have a 2” bds lift with Fox shocks, and run 35x12.5x15 tires on a stock Dana 30, I know .. I know) and have upgraded to a anti rock torsion bar. Like I said, the rear has a ford 8.8, which I do not know alot about yet.
then, I’ll be asking about lockers real soon too. Hahaha.
