My personal favorite, "ran when parked" - I know exactly what's wrong with it but playing stupid because it'll never sell if I was an honest human being.
That’s what my FIL said about his 1954 DICO milk truck when the 2 of us started to restore it. It ran before he parked it under a hay shed for 25 yrs. Motor was seized, the inside was covered in 1/2” of fine dust and the brake lines were totally shot. Took me 3 months to get the motor to turn and another month to get it to start. Sadly he passed away just before I finished it.
