Hello all. First time posting here and I'm hoping someone can help with something I found.

I have a 99 Sahara that has been one disaster after another since I bought it a couple years ago. It mostly sits for various reasons, but I felt motivated today so I went out to bleed the brakes since I had recently replaced the right rear hard line.

While doing that, I took a peek in the master cylinder and saw that the fluid was black. I crawled underneath to see if I could figure out how to bleed the slave cylinder and was only mildly surprsied to find zip ties around the slave and running up to the top of the tranny. I can't see where they go.

While feeling around for a bleed screw, it felt something moving around inside of where I think the bleeder is. I couldn't tell what it was but it felt plastic.

Very long story short- after I monkeyed around with this stuff, I suddenly have no clutch.

This is a typical Jeep that has pretty much everything rigged by previous owners.

I'm thinking I may pop the console out to get a lock at the top of the tranny to see if I can find where the zip ties are attached to. I suppose I may also and up replacing the master and slave unless someone has some info here.

Thanks.

Sean
