glad to see someone else from KS/MO area around here. I went to KU and have spent a lot of time in Lawrence myself.
Check out 4x4 land in Topeka, pretty sure they do caps.
The area shops (in no particular order):

Stomper Offroad in Olathe (don't think they do caps/frame repair but not 100% sure)
^ I've used both of these personally, solid shops and specialize in Jeeps
KMC Mechanical Repair
Offroad Nomads
^ Not used these personally but they have a good reputation as local Jeep shops/resources, might be worth a call to investigate if they do caps
When you get the work done and the Jeep back, please post an update and share your experience if you can remember to do it. My frame is pretty dang clean except for one problem area. I take good care of it but I imagine that a few years down the road, it may need a cap in that spot.
