So I am new to the Jeep game and just picked up a used 97 TJ with the 2.5L motor for $1,000. It starts and drives fine except for the rusted out center section of the frame which seems all to common for these vehicles. I'm a fairly handy guy but I simply don't have the equipment to fix this in my garage. Anyone have any contacts or a shop in the Detroit area that I could get a hold of for pricing. I know it was risky to buy a jeep with a bad frame but couldn't pass it up for the price. Thanks for any info.
