Fresh Paint

REALLY ?? My Child support isn't far off from $1,000 WEEKLY !!! 😳

Do this math then ? I have no Mortgage it's paid / & I have no Car payments ALL Paid :

Town Property taxes $16,000 YR = $307 week
Inc Village Taxes $5,000 yr = $96 week
HOA $7200 yr = $138 week
Life Insurance $2500 yr =$48 week
Car Insurance 3 cars $2500 yr =$48 week
Home owners insurance $2000 yr = $38 week
Gas heat & Electric $4800 yr = $92 week
Cell Phone $1200 Yr =$23 week
Cable TV & Internet $2400 yr = $46 week
Gasoline = $4800 yr = $92 week
___________________________________________________ ( Minn Required BASIC needs ) $928 WEEKLY !!!!

The above STILL does "NOT" include:
Food, clothes, repairs on home or auto, vacations, hobbies or anything fun like a JEEP or a Boat that with no boat payments costs approx $10,000 -$12,000 yr
OK now............. lets not forget about that child support it's almost per $4,000 Mo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = ( $923 week )

My realistic expenses all in are about $3500 + $$$$ WEEKLY ! With $0 Mortgage & $0 Car payments !!

Remember-- that 1K per week, I was specifically talking about a RETIREMENT income. If you have those type of expenses, then you cant / shouldn't retire, thats all I am sayin' ( on 50 K / yr )

Decided to pull the trigger on some paint and went from my dull beat up and scratched to death black to a 2012+ bright white.

Thinking of keeping the sliders off for a cleaner look. Thoughts?

They were just for looks, as I don't do anything hardcore enough with the Jeep to really use them.

Looks really nice, hoping my paint job turns out well like yours. (different color though)

I'd leave the sliders on. I just bought an 03 Rubi that had been 30 mph T-boned and the factory rubicon rails saved it from more being totally junk. Previous owner was 70 and bought it new and did want a "wreck jeep" I got a 80,000 mile driveable gift for $6200. great insurance for the other druggy drivers. Take care
