I went wheeling with my supposedly stock TJ SE on 30s this past weekend and ended up on a trail that should of been beyond the ability of my TJ. At the bottom of the trail I had to turn around due to the log bridge having been washed out and while turning around on the rocks I heard a noise that sounded like a branch snapping. I thought maybe I picked up a branch in the skid plate or axle but it was clear and as I started clawing up wet rocks and mud I figured out I have a front locker. The sound wasn’t a metallic click or pop though. I’m opening it up this weekend to replace seals and change fluid but anyone have any ideas what I may find in there? Thankfully I have it or the Jeep would still be at the bottom of that ravine.
