Front seat tilt is broken

Hi guys, I just found out that my front seat of broken. It will tilt all the way forward as if you pulled the lever for someone to get into the back seat. The problem is that it does this without touching the lever. I’m afraid of what’s gonna happen in an accident if someone is sitting there. Thanks for your help.

Guys I need your help. When I brake too hard the seat slides forward even with someone in it.

Have you checked to make sure the mechanism that release when the leaver is pulled is not stuck in the engaged position?

A spilled coke , etc can make the catch lever stick open.

Sharp jeep ya got there Luke ..it's good you are concerned about that also.

The seat belt will catch regardless, it's independent of the seats action .
