Front seat won't lock

Tonight (right before a trip) the front driver’s seat on my 2005 LJ won’t lock back into place. Has anyone had this problem before?

Slam it home, just had this on my passemger seat after grinding all brackets clean and seal coating with Rustoleum on whole interior floorpan and brackets. Takes a hard slam and it locks

If it dont work, take the seat out and evaluate all springs and lube and operate
