Front springs different heights?

So I'm standing in my garage looking at my TJ & it looks to be leaning towards the passenger side so I measured the front springs & sure enough the passenger one is 1 inch shorter than the driver's side, wtf? Every thread I can find talks about sagging springs but not 'a' sagging spring. I don't know how I did this or if I did this but I've measured these before & they were always the same. My garage floor is perfectly level, the tires are evenly aired & there is nothing in or on the Jeep, no doors, top or even rear seat, & I don't have any modifications that add excessive weight to the passenger side, everything is pretty evenly distributed in terms of skids, bumper, winch.... This ever happen to anyone? I'm assuming I have to replace them but I'm not sure what brand they are though I'd like to swap them with similar (3 inch lift) coils, any recommendations? The rears still measure exactly 11 inches each so I'll leave them on.

Make sure both sides are seated in the seats correctly. I hope that makes sense, maybe someone has a picture. But if you articulate enough it's possible the spring moved.

There is nothing that says the both have to sag together.

It is theoretically possible that one spring went bad. Could "maybe" aslo have a shock problem. I think you would want to swap them both out. And inspect the shocks and springs.

Yup! I bought a set used from another forum member after measuring mine a couple different times in different places. Both times came up with 2” lower on one side.

Measured them at home in my garage and came up with the right measurements on all four corners. Now I have a set just sitting around lol. Granted they yielded 5/8” lift for his SE. I still may swap them out once I get shocks and put my 2” spacers in

Though I'm not sure how a defective shock could cause the spring to compress an inch more than its counterpart?

To be honest it would be a long shot if it was your shock. It would have to be binding up. If you can bounce that shock i would think it was ok.

I don't see how a shock could do that. It would have to be seized up somehow but I've never heard of that happening .

Mine were not seized but one side did not move without a lot of force. To be honest I never measured each side nor noticed if it was leaning.

Jump up and down on the bumper on that side and see if there is free movement but it is most likely the spring on that side.

just tried that, shocks on both sides feel good. I just adjusted the track bar last week so I thought it might be related to that, dropped it down & jumped up & down on it again then remeasured it with and with out it attached and no change, still a solid 1 inch droop on the passenger side.

I'm looking at springs & I've found Teraflex and Nth Degree have 3 inch lift springs, anyone have any experience with either of those?
