Its the flock of birds theory to escape predators. There is so much crap bolted to that thing that thieves are so confused about what to take first they just stand there doing nothing.

Do you have to twist the turnbuckles, unclip the aircraft cable and then unscrew all four eye bolts to use the traction boards?

And I'm glad they have the gas cans pointed down to allow children to release the cap...not that you have much choice with the vent.

I see so much stuff that would get removed by trees in the PNW. Although the limb risers might help direct everything into the lights.

They just had a lot of parts left over from doing the cable railing around their deck and needed a place to store them.

You ever look through a JC Whitney catalog when you were young? Now imagine having a credit card to use when you do it.

That's how I imagine it. Something like that.

I doubt people who build Jeeps like this go off road often or at all. It's a look, not a lifestyle.

You can tell folks who use gear often...and who don't.

Like I pointed out...it would take you twenty minutes and more than one hinge step to get those traction boards down.

Frustration, expediency and repetition are easily visually observed.
