Getting vibes at 50-55 mph

Installed sssye and adams d/c driveshaft a few months ago no problem no vibes. Put in a ucf ultra high clearance belly pan a couple weeks ago and started getting vibrations around 30-40 mph my driveshaft and pinion angle were about 3 degrees different….increased my pinion angle to about one and a half degrees lower now I get very slight vibrations at 50-55 mph. Am I too close to even and need to drop pinion a little…Any ideas?

Rotate the angle finder on the back of the axle housing 90 degrees so it's reading the pinion angle and not housing angle. Doing that makes it easier to compare the pinion angle to the driveshaft angle.

I would recommend driving 45 or 60 and turn the stereo up

If its any consolation I spent all day under the welding hood in a hot ass shop today building cool shit and then magically a bottle off Woodford Double Oaked appeared with A glass full of Ice and it has not run out yet

So basically put the angle finder on the underside of the housing? I can’t really see in your picture

Same spot on the back of the diff, just rotate the digital level until it reads 20-ish°.

You could try tilting the pinion up 1/2 degree, or down 1/2 degree, and take a test drive. Each Jeep reacts a little differently.

yeah moved it up a degree vibe’s don’t seem to be there anymore
