Greasing Rock Jock double-adjustable front upper control arms

Installed Rock Jock front double adjustable uppers yesterday. Got a question though... I see that the JJs appear to be pre-greased from the manufacturer. The bolts have zerks though... Do I need to grease those before I drive it, or am I ok until my next oil change since it's just the bolts. Just wondering since my previous arms had no zerks in the bolts. I just don't have the type of grease I want (nor is it available locally), and am not sure if I need to grease it before driving (particularly the bolts with the zerks) or if I'm fine with the factory grease on the JJ's for now and no grease in the bolts.

The zerks don't reach the inside of the bushing so it's not worth the effort. If the JJs need grease you should disassemble them.

I installed mine, noting they were greased from Rock Jock and started driving. No noises yet.

I had a rock jock rep tell me to remove the zerk, drill til ya hit the ball, and put it back in and grease-

You're talking about the CAs with a zerk in the housing. OP has CAs that came with the greaseable bolts. The greasable bolts just make a mess when you have to remove them and achieve little or nothing as far as greasing the ball/race interface.

I had the RJ rep tell me the same thing as you. And I've since added zerks to housings that didn't have them which the OP may want to do. It does help to get some grease into the ball and ease the squeaks.
