Bought two M1's through the Civilian Marksman Program back when I was on active duty Air Force. Gave one to my dad, and kept this one. It's a WWII serial number and when I bought it, it was a barreled receiver only. IE: no wood. So I bought the Boyd stock for the gun. I would rather have an original wood stock with this rifle, but it is what it is! LOL.

The AR is my newest gun also I have owned the SKS and the Marlin Model 60 22lr since I was 16 years old.
My friend has a MI Garand and a Swiss Mouser and man they are so much fun.

since you are on the opposite side of the big lake from me I know where to go if we get invaded
I have guns, but since I live in Commifornia I will not publicly state how many or what type.
I bought two M1's all original with original wood. Love them both when I bought them at the CMP north store. I also love the Mosin-nagant, but it is more useful as a land spear. lol. Also love the recoil system I put on my 12 gauge, makes it actually more fun to shoot.
