Well, at least he didn't buy a Rubicon and tear it apart. Still, I'd cringe at spending 30k just to rip it up 😳 But, that does look like it will be freaking awesome;)

This reminds me of rich Texans hunting here in Newer Mexico. Pay $15,000 for the hunt, buy a new rifle, hire a guide, shoot a nice sized Elk on a private ranch and call yourself record book Big Game Hunter. There's not much satisfaction in things that you buy as opposed to things that you build yourself. But, that is one nice rig someone it putting together for him!

It reminds me of those rich people who hire a home builder to build their home. Then they move in and call them selves home owners...

Or it also reminds me of those rich people who had their TJ/LJ built by the experts at Jeep back in the 90’s/2000’s. Walking out the dealer’s door with their new Jeeps. And here we are calling ourselves TJ owners. Nice that Jeep built them for us though if you ask me.

😂 (Pure sarcasm, if it wasn't obvious) but I do like your theory.

Same goes for people who buy a brand new car/truck, polish it up and start putting it in car shows and bragging about the (participation) trophy's they're racking up. Has always bothered me only because i come from the side of the guys who restore a classic vehicle from near death and put it back on the road. That deserves recognition.

But i'm not taking anything away from what these guys are doing to this Jeep.. I'm sure they're having to figure out a lot of stuff as they go along. Just not my thing personally but I sure do like seeing fabrication work of any kind like this.
