Half door secure storage within Jeep while driving

So I don't always take my half doors with me if nice, but I got nailed with a massive storm and should carry my half doors and sides in my area due to the crazy weather around here. Problem is they need to be locked down. I have a huge cable lock that I can use that would probably be enough for my region, but it isn't the greatest. Has anyone locked their half doors inside their vehicle with the top down? I have this great case that holds everything that I feel is a great buy. Also, I was hoping to store my half doors behind the rear seat, but I don't think they fit. Can someone confirm that half doors are too big for behind the rear seat? Thanks.

In a TJ, I don’t think they would fit. LJ would have enough space.

The uppers fit behind the rear seat, only just.

Yeah I'm with you on this....a TJ maybe too short.

Upper will fit with a squeeze but not the doors.

Oops, sorry, just the uppers. They didn't seem to fit inside the case, but I didn't go crazy over it. I was going to relocate my subwoofer if I could fit the uppers and sides in that case behind the rear seat, but I just don't think it fits. Maybe it does?

Ahhhh yes.. they do fit standing up in the boot but they sit about 3 inches above the back seat, if I remember...(Summer was a while ago for me )

The fella I sold my X to trusted people, and left his upper doors behind the seat. Went out one day, no upper doors. You'd definitely need some way to secure them.

weld a washer or loop to the window frame and use a cable lock to the roll bar.
or just the cable lock between the zippers.

Sucks that people can't leave others stuff alone. I used to worry I'd come outside one day and my dang full doors would be gone. So far so good.
