Half door vs full door for noise

Figured I'd add my input to this since i finally made the move to full doors :D

I swapped my doors with an 06 model and the difference is huge! Previously anything >70km/h was unbearable for long periods of driving but now i can drive at 100km/h with relative ease. I suspect that the seals were going on my half doors which was causing extra noise but yeah, still a big change

Awesome result, if you are still interested in sound reduction definitely look at sound deadening the tub. It goes along way with comfort of the Jeep.

I recently put a headliner in my new to me hardtop. I have half doors that need to be painted to match. I had the rear window out of the hardtop when I painted it and I have not put it back yet. I've been driving the Jeep for a week or so with half doors, no door uppers, hardtop, no hardtop rear window. I've hit 70 MPH a few times and found it very pleasant as far as wind noise.

I would never give up my full doors though.
