Halo light question

06 Rubi, Halo lights... headlights work, one ring works on passenger beside, doesn't on driver side in the wire is cut into at the hood latch that connects them... These are very small wires like telephone wire... When I play with touching them together they change the color of the ring on the passenger side.

Where do I start?

Rings change color? Sounds like some Chinesium stuff

Wiring for halo lights is usually very simple. There's an extra wire coming from them that gets tapped into a running light (such as the side markers in the front fender flares).
