has anybody got any simple methods they use to stop their liftgate from swinging open then they remove the hardtop. Can take or a band be tied around the struts?
People have claimed good success with a Shower Curtain Rod and Bungee cord. I have the lift gate retainer off Quadratec but first option would be cheaper.
WD-40 is too often thought of by some as a good lubricant. It's not, and it wasn't designed to be a lubricant. Technically, it is classified as a solvent. As a lubricant it has two big problems... 1) It's so thin that it evaporates too soon. 2) It's so thin that it isn't a good lubricant.
